What is Powertex?
Powertex is an environmentally friendly, water-based textile hardener which can harden absorbent materials such as textiles, paper, cardboard, fabrics, and fiberglass. Powertex is used for making sculptures, paintings, decorative objects and jewelry.
Powertex works only on natural materials....If you have a piece of natural fibre material that you wish to use into your work then bring it along and we can see if its suitable.
Powertex can be rather sticky/messy so make sure you wear suitable clothing, tie your hair back and remove all your jewellery.
